Mo Collins is a New Economy specialist with expertise in women entrepreneurship, technology innovation and entrepreneurial ecosystems. She speaks and provides custom training throughout the United States and Canada. Collins served in progressive, senior-level roles at the University of Northern Iowa (UNI) between 1997 and 2014 building tech-driven resources to serve entrepreneurs, including EntreFEST, MyEntreNet, Dream Big Grow Here and the Iowa Business Concierge. She launched Iowa’s first annual statewide survey of entrepreneurs and small business and has co-authored numerous journal publications associated with those findings.
Collins garnered personal and professional awards for her work in supporting entrepreneurs from the National Association of Women Business Owners (2017), the International Economic Development Council (2014), the University Economic Development Association (2014, 2010), and multiple awards from the Association of Small Business Development Centers
Mo is a top tier trainer for the International Economic Development Council, the OU Economic Development Institute and economic development organizations and chambers nationwide.
