Mo served in university economic development between 1997 and 2014. She created, scaled and licensed new and novel technologies connecting thousands of companies with capital, training and peer support, earning U.S. and international awards for innovation and advocacy.

Collins has conducted primary research in the field of entrepreneurship since 2010. She is published in multiple peer-reviewed journals and regularly speaks on topics associated with entrepreneurship, women, technology and the economy.
